My teaser comes from. . .

     “You can’t touch me,” I whisper. I’m lying, is what I don’t tell him. He can touch me, is what I’ll never tell him. Please touch me, is what I want to tell him.
     But things happen when people touch me. Strange things. Bad things.
     Dead things.

I’m re-reading Shatter Me because of Pitch Dark’s Shatter Me re-read-a-thon, and I’m falling in love with it all over again. I’m trying to pace myself because the read-a-thon last all week, so this is a quote from the very beginning (pg. 11).
